Who am I?

I never thought I was “good enough” to be an artist – in fact, I wasn’t even allowed to take art O-level at school. But I’ve always found comfort in drawing. As a child, I learned perspective and technical drawing from my dad, and spent hours doodling eyes or copying whatever was in front of me.

During lockdown, I picked up a doodle book just for something to do – and I haven’t stopped drawing since. Nearly every day, I’ve created something new, and art has quietly become the heart of my daily life.

Due to ongoing mobility issues, I’m unable to work in a traditional role. So I made a brave decision: to share my art and see how it’s received. I work mainly in soft pastels from my home studio in Thame, Oxfordshire, and love capturing character and charm – whether that’s in a beloved pet’s expression or a local village street.
